Black Creek Community Farm covers eight acres at Jane and Steeles in North York, with vegetable fields, greenhouses, chickens and woods running down into the Black Creek ravine. The farm stand opens Thursday afternoons from mid-June, and Harvest Share members pick up a bag of vegetables at the same time. Over 40 vegetables are grown here, callaloo and gai lan among them, and walk-in visitors can use the picnic area and garden paths free during open hours.
