Greg Downey, a seventh-generation farmer in Peel Region, runs this fruit and vegetable farm north of Brampton, independently of Downey's Farm across the road. Strawberry picking runs over Canada Day, and apple picking runs from August into November, with close to twenty varieties on the harvest calendar and weekend wagon rides out to the orchard. In the fall there's a pumpkin patch, plus sweet corn, squash, tomatoes, honey from the farm's bees and cider pressed from its apples.
