Bruce MacArthur, farming since 1978, runs this Highway 7 patch near Lindsay with his children and grandchildren. From August to Christmas it opens Friday to Sunday: buy the pumpkins, squash and gourds the family grows, browse the farm store, and let the kids loose on the playground, with pumpkin bowling, a hamster wheel and straw bales to climb. In winter the store turns to Christmas trees and decor, and there's a fire for roasting marshmallows.
