The Murphy family has worked this land on the Essa Flats north of Alliston since 1913, and Calder and Stephanie now run the market and scratch bakery, open all year. Come for bread baked every day, pies and butter tarts, and the farm's own produce in season. In May, pick tulips from a field of more than 200,000; from late September to Halloween, the fall festival adds wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, a corn maze and a farmyard play area.
