Charles Stevens bought this farm north of Newcastle in 1975, and his daughter Courtney now manages the pick-your-own and the café. Three patches hold nine varieties of high-bush blueberries, picked from about the last week of July into mid-August with a booked time slot. AppleBerries Cafe at the East Patch bakes most of its blueberry desserts from scratch, makes its own blueberry ice cream and sells the farm's jams and sauces.
