Hereward Farms

Julie and Stephen planted their first lavender in East Garafraxa on land Stephen's family has farmed for generations, and the fields now hold thousands of lavender plants beside a sunflower field. The Lavender Lounge pours coffee and lavender lattes Wednesday to Saturday all year, next to a boutique of lavender skincare and home goods; the online shop adds dried bundles, culinary lavender and honey from bees that work the farm's fields. In summer, field tickets let you walk the rows in bloom, with cut-your-own lavender and sunflowers when there's enough to go round.
