The Loback family has run Hinterland Growers on Scugog Line 4, just off Simcoe Street south of Port Perry, since 2016. The season opens in May with a plant sale of vegetable, herb and flower seedlings, and the farm store then carries the farm's vegetables, eggs, preserves and fermented hot sauces. Produce Basket members collect a weekly share on Thursday afternoons from late June to late October, and whole chickens are sold by pre-order for pickup in July and October.
