The Dickieson family's market on Wellington Road 32 grew out of a small stand on the family farm for the sweet corn they grow, and they still pick it from about late July into October, with pumpkins in the fall. Inside, most of the pies, butter tarts, quiches and meat pies are baked on site, and the beef and pork are mostly cut in the store. Shelves also carry candles, stained glass and knitted cloths made by people nearby.
