The Hughes family has worked Springridge Farm on Bell School Line in Milton since 1960, on the slope of the Niagara Escarpment. Its 19th-century bank barn holds the Barn Market and a bakery that still turns out pies and tarts from Grandma Hughes' recipes, with lunch at the Front Porch Servery. In October the Fun Farmyard has goats, tube slides, wagon rides and a weekend corn trail, and in December the farm sells Christmas trees.
